Business Continuity & Operations
The current COVID-19 pandemic has impacted business and industry across every sector. While much of the impact could not be anticipated, and the details continue to evolve, National is proceeding in providing essential business services to the insurance industry.
In addition to government mandates, we are modifying day-to-day business operations, closely following the recommendations set forth by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Our internal staff, including our management team, quality assurance, field services and compliance departments have all transitioned to work-from-home status. All departments and team members remain fully operational, and are able to continue to meet and exceed our service level agreements.
We have implemented our Pandemic Response Plan with our inspectors across the country, to ensure their safety, as well as the safety of policyholders. This plan includes the following adjustments:
- All interior inspections have been temporarily suspended. Inspectors will not enter the home of any insured to conduct an interior inspection.
- All inspection interviews and policyholder interaction are being conducted via phone, rather than face-to-face.
- Inspectors who are ill, or have had any known contact with someone who is ill, are self-quarantining.
- Inspectors are following all federal, state and local orders as they relate to social distancing, and use of gloves, masks, etc.
We believe these measures will help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and keep our people safe and your business running. You can confidently expect the same high level of productivity and service from our team, during this time.
We thank you for your support and understanding during these unprecedented times. If you have any questions or would like to set up a call to discuss any details, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
